Amazon Kindle vs. Corner Barns and Noble vs. Sony e-reader?

What are your views on these three e-readers? I want to know about availiblity free books, books that you can buy, easy to use, and other information to share. Savy'm not very technical, which could be more I would like to factor in. Thanks!

I think they are all pretty good products, it depends on what you need, really. The three should have free access to public domain books, but other free content vary from store to store. Kindle2 - has a web browser (limited). Supports Word documents conversion but not support the EPUB format, which is the format most other ebook stores use - Amazon uses a proprietary format (even if you have pdf ebooks, those who work). Amazon has also deleted the books purchased without notice and after a trial, said he did not delete the content acquired through that again - however, recently deleted samples of people from their Kindles they were having a disagreement with Macmillan, which was not really cool. The second generation, so it has some of the kinks worked out. Lots of books available on Amazon. Uses 3G for internet access. Overall, a solid player. It has a keyboard on the bottom for notes. You can make text to speech. Sony Touch - the screen has glare issues because of the touchscreen overlay, and the contrast is less than people say it is not as readable. (Your readers Touch Screen not have that problem and have very clear screen) You can use a pencil to take notes freehand, I hear it works pretty well. Have you heard your store ebook is not the greatest, but it is the only reader of eBooks for supporting lending library, which is cool, and support a wide variety of formats. Cost $ 300, which is $ 40 more than the Kindle either 2 or corner. No internet access, which means that all books must be sideloaded. There is a touch pad. If just want something very simple, there is the Sony Reader Pocket, a smaller screen and a little less features because I think $ 200. Nook - more 3 new, so it is difficult to say much yet. It has a color touch screen on the bottom instead of buttons. Uses 3G and wifi, it has a browser, but may have applications available in the future for many things. Battery life is a bit shorter than the Kindle and hers and a little heavier. BN has been improving their eBook store to be competitive with Amazon, we'll see how it goes. The corner supports EPUB format, so you can buy books from other places that use this format very easily, but not directly from his corner - would be required sideload via USB. It has expandable memory and a battery cell. You supposed to get benefits if you use your corner shop BN, but I'm not sure what they are. Also you can try first hand at your local Barnes and Noble (Which I recommend, if you have not used an ereader in person, however, only to have an idea. You can also see if an electronics store like Best Buy has some Sony Reader on the screen).
